ATOM BOMB™ writing contest is Fiction War Magazine's annual review of one-hundred-word stories (100 words or fewer) from around the world, awarding a $5,000 grand prize to a single work. Shortlisted works will be announced periodically and offered publication in Atom Bomb. One story from the combined shortlists will win the cash award. 2018 Atom Bomb theme: When I Lived.

RULES and AGREEMENT

Fiction War™ Magazine's Atom Bomb™ writing contest is open to anyone 18 years or older.

Entries must be original, previously unpublished work, created expressly for Atom Bomb.

Entries must be 100 words or fewer, not including title.

Entries must be submitted via Submittable link as provided.

Entrant’s name/contact info should not appear anywhere within the body of the work.

Blind judging — entries identified only by number until judging is completed.

Multiple entries are allowed — each entry requires its own nonrefundable entry fee via Submittable.

Anyone editorially or administratively affiliated with Wolvesburrow Productions is not eligible to participate.

Full publishing copyrights are retained by the author of the original work. By submitting, the author agrees to grant Wolvesburrow Productions first publishing rights and continuing, non-exclusive rights to reproduce the submitted work as part of the specified anthologies, including, but not limited to online, ebook, and print.

For works not selected for publishing, all rights are solely held by the author.

Simultaneous submissions are not allowed.

All submitted works are considered for publication. Shortlisted, featured authors will receive a complimentary copy.

All works selected for publication will be subject to editing and formatting for Fiction War Magazine's Atom Bomb.

This competition is entirely dependent upon writing skill, it is NOT a game of chance with any respect whatsoever.

Awards payable via PayPal within 30 days of print publication. Recipients shall be responsible for any transaction/processing fees/taxes. Awards greater than $600 may require tax ID/EIN.

Awards are contingent upon first publishing within Atom Bomb — works that cannot be published are ineligible.
